This web page is designed to make it easy for you to compose and mail letters to your representatives in the United States Congress, which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate. Use the form below to create a polished letter to send to your representatives. Enter your information, write your letter, print it out and sign it. We recommend that you compose the body of your letter in a word processing program to help you check your spelling and then paste it below. Everything you need to get your letter in the mail is here. There are seven steps involved and you will have the opportunity to choose which representative(s) and/or senator(s) you would like to communicate with in the 110th congress.

Your Voice is important! Tell your representatives what is true for you. What changes do you see as necessary in the world? Do you know other people who are in agreement with you? Tell them to write a letter as well. We, as the taxpaying citizens of America have a fundamental responsibility to participate in our own government and are individually responsible for the ethics, direction, and behavior of our nation as a whole. Speak out! If you have questions about the stance of your United States Senator or Representative in the House, you are encouraged to check their website first for information. Many representatives sites are up to date and informative and can give you the information you are seeking. You can be more informed before writing your letter.

What about email? If you would rather just send an email, simply choose your state in step 1. Your representatives will then be listed in step 2 and you can use google to find their website which will have an email form for contacting them.

Step 4: Preview your letter(s)

Step 5: Print & Sign Your Letter(s)

Your letters are printable from the letter preview generated above. If you need to change something in your letter after previewing it, just close the preview and make the necessary changes, then return to step 4. Don't forget to sign your letter.

Step 6: Address Your Envelope(s)

The mailing address for each letter is the second address appearing on the letter, underneath your own. Copy this address onto your envelope, attach postage and drop it in the mail.

Step 7: Submit a Copy of Your Letter

If you would like to share your letter for others to see on Your Voice, please save a copy of your letter (when you have the preview open in adobe reader), and send it attached to an email to letters(at)innerlightdesign(dot)com. In your email please tell us:

1. A title for your letter

2. Who you mailed your letter to (if you mailed multiple copies)

3. When you mailed you letter

We will pick letters at random and display them on the "Featured Letters" page. Your letter will be displayed with your initials and your state only.
